IT’S ABOUT TIME

Seven women. Seven visions.

FLOW Photofest presents LVII: It’s About Time, a women’s-only exhibition at Eden Court Theatre. Featuring seven women and seven unique visions, the show is a celebration of women in photography by the LVII Collective.

For this exhibition, Shona Graham-Taylor is showing eight works from her ongoing project Wildlight. The selection is includes two standalone images and two triptychs from the first sub-project, Emergence.

Wildlight: Emergence

Emergence is a black-and-white fine art exploration of butterflies — often seen as symbols of transformation, grace, and freedom. Stripping away colour allows focus on detail, contrast, and the intricate beauty of their wings, while also revealing a quiet strength that is often overlooked.

Created specifically for It’s About Time, the series reflects themes of growth, change, and self-definition — resonating with both the natural life cycle of the butterfly and the artist’s evolving voice. Through light, shadow, and form, Emergence invites viewers to pause, observe, and connect with fleeting moments of beauty and becoming.
