This year’s calendar is something a little different. My 2026 Wildlife Calendar is a fully black-and-white collection featuring images from my ongoing fine art project, Wildlight. After launching the project through exhibitions, as well as online via my website and social media, I wanted to dedicate this calendar to it — a body of work that’s been close to my heart. It’s also been a year marked by personal loss, after my dad passed away in July. As a result, I wasn’t able to finish the colour work I’d normally include, but creating this monochrome edition felt like the right way to honour both the year and the project. Each month features one of my favourite wildlife moments from my journeys around Scotland — timeless, quiet, and full of light.
