Macro 2026 – The Glasgow Gallery of Photography
Digital Exhibition
2–30 April 2026 | Glasgow
I’m delighted to share that one black-and-white image from my Wildlight: Emergence series will be featured in the Macro 2026 digital exhibition at the Glasgow Gallery of Photography. The image, capturing a moon moth, presents a glimpse into the broader Wildlight: Emergence project — a fine art series exploring butterflies in monochrome, where colour is removed to highlight form, detail, and the quiet beauty of these often overlooked species. For more information on this project, click here.
Wildlight: Emergence is the first sub-project within Wildlight, an evolving black-and-white wildlife photography project that explores the form, character, behaviours, and essence of wild animals. By removing colour, the work draws attention to structure, expression, and the presence of each subject, encouraging a deeper, more contemplative connection. The project continues to grow, with smaller connected bodies of work branching from it, contributing to the wider narrative of Wildlight.
This marks the second exhibition to feature work from Wildlight: Emergence, and I’m thrilled to be exhibiting in Glasgow for the first time. A special thanks to Landmark Forest Adventure Park and their incredible team for their support during the creation of this image, providing access, expertise, and insight that were invaluable in bringing the project to life.
